PARTY POLAROIDS

Last night my friend Emma had a cheeseburger themed get-together for her birthday! I bought her that necklace that she's sporting from ModCloth and she was absolutely ecstatic. I was worried about giving it to her because it turned out to be of poor quality and I wasn't allowed to return it. Good thing she liked it though! I love giving my friends gifts. If I were extremely rich, I'd shower my loved ones with gifts all the time because, quite frankly, they deserve it.

Unfortunately, these are probably going to be the last photos I take with my Polaroid. The film is just so ridiculously expensive. Even the price of the Polaroid Impossible film is outrageous and you only get eight exposures. Not cool. More than likely, I'll be purchasing a Fujifilm Instax camera in the near future. Instant cameras are so much fun to shoot with; the whole experience of shooting an image and watching it develop right before your eyes is magical. It's something I never want to have to give up.

  2. I hate when you buy something online & it ends up being poor quality :( Worst! Especially if its for a friend. Still a cool necklace though!

  3. we're recently super obsessed with old polaroids! I know what you mean about the film prices.. oh my! We've been using Fuji Instax for 3 years already and we loved it but there's so much more a Polaroid can offer. Right now we're playing with sx-70, spectra, 600 cameras. We're going to try a peel-apart and roll films, too. And then we'll take a break I guess and wait till the film prices go a bit down :-)

    1. It's good to hear that you like the Fujifilm Instax! I've been really hesitant about buying one and I think a lot of it is that I'm so partial to the square photos a Polaroid takes. I'm still trying to figure out which is the best one to get!

    1. The only reason why I've not bought one yet is because they're a bit pricey! It'll totally worth it though, in my opinion.
